How many people are running 9.5's on lowering springs as opposed to coils?
I've seen some people post their setup with like 18x9.5 +38 on eibach pro's
and claim no rubbing.. But how's the poke and such?

If you're running a setup like this I would appreciate if you posted pics and specs.
And please don't tell me "Just save for coilovers man". I'm well aware that they're a better option but I have no intention of tracking the car, it's only an aesthetic thing. So I'm looking at the more economical options first.

For reference I'm looking at 18x9.5 +38 square on 245/40, or 18x8.5 +33 F and 18x9.5 +40 R.

I have Gram Light 57DR 18 X 9.5 +38 245/35 18s and they fit fine with H&R sport springs, and it doesn't rub at all. There's barely any clearance in the front to the spring perch, but it does clear. There's some pictures of guys with the Enkei RPF01 thread with the same size and offset too.

With more aggressive wheel fitments I normally suggest to my customers to go with coilovers which have an adjustable ride height. Springs don't have adjustable ride height, so if you have bad rubbing issues it can make it harder to get rid of the rubbing. If you're on coilovers, lets say BC coilovers for example, which come with camber plates, you can camber in the front tires a bit to make the 9.5"s look better as well (which is also what I suggest for that fitment).
