Yeah, I kept it nice and low RPM getting going. It really only begs for attention if I get on it and hit 4k+ before shifting out of first, which might not be a great idea starting into a right turn...

Yeah, the shoes can make a huge difference. I got a new pair of shoes recently, similar style to what I always wear but the sole was a bit thicker and stiffer. Couldn't feel the gas pedal anymore....

I put some PS4S on after the stock tires broke loose too easily on wet roads. I managed to get them to chirp once mashing the gas going from a stop into a hard right turn and that's about it.

I find it intuitive, the ring rolls backward/down to increase speed, just as moving the lever down increases speed. Keeps it so that down is consistently faster and up is consistently slower.
