The backup camera in this car makes it too easy. I believe the red crosshair indicates 1.5' from the rear bumper.

Cleaned my rear view mirror today. It had gotten to where, even though it looked clean during the day, it got all hazy and impossible to use with headlights shining in it at night.

Well it wasn't today, but this last weekend I finally tackled the spark plugs. I kept seeing where people said that you didn't need to raise the engine, so I spent the first 4 hours trying to do it that way. All I was able to do was get a coil pack off. Then the next 4 hours, I raised the engine and got them all done lol.

Got out the ice scraper for the first time since owning my BRZ. There wasn't much, but it was covering the brake light in the rear window so I had to clear it before driving.

Installed a GMRS radio that I got for Christmas (had to 3D print a custom mount for the handheld unit... which I still need to finish and wrap in Alcantara.) Then got carried away and bought a better antenna. Then got even more carried away and scheduled an appointment at the body shop for next Monday to have them drill a hole in the trunk so I can mount it without the ugly black magnetic base, and hide the wiring. #CopBRZ

Installed the 2017 rear sway to compensate for going to softer springs.
On a side note, does anyone know if the Oem rear bar can be installed upside down? There's not handy markings like the 13-16' bar.. |

A Week or so ago, I removed my Tomei UEL headers, and OFT Stage 2+ flash.
I dont miss them at all. I hated the rumble and the low end doesnt bother me as much as I thought it would. also my MPG have gone back up 3-5mpg on average. -B |

My car is awaiting spring in the garage, so I have connected the battery to the pulse charger to keep it fully charged (Ctek MXS5)

Pretty sweet, what are you going to do with it? Got my kids some high power handhelds so they can spend more time out in the woods without having to backtrack just to check in. Still waiting for someone to bitch about being on GMRS channels, it will be hilarious when one of the kids passes their FCC call sign phonetically. |
