I've had mixed results reusing them. Can't mash down too hard because the banjo fitting collapses. You can use standard 10mm copper gaskets. Very common.

I use a stainless steel polish. Let it soak for 5-10 mins and then wipe the grime away. Just make sure you don't get it on the plastic parts as it'll stain them
