The long anticipated Five Axis Edition Scion FR-S has finally been revealed. Five Axis has released the first teaser video and fully revealed images of their FR-S package and we have to say we’re fans.

It borrows some styling from the Concept Scion FR-S and adds aggressiveness to the factory FR-S’s looks without going overboard. Check out the teaser video, first photos, and pricing INSIDE.

While attending the Formula D Long Beach last week, Speedhunters was approached by Kei Miura, the man behind TRA Kyoto and Masaru Ikeda, President of Trust Japan, and led into the GReddy support trailer where they were shown renderings of what will be a street driveable FR-S by GReddy.

Insideline put their Scion FR-S long term tester on the dyno and was able to achieve 173 whp @ 7000 RPM and 141 lb-ft @ 2800 RPM.

This represents an approximate 12% drivetrain loss, which is a pretty good figure. Watch the dyno video inside.

Here’s a clip which shows off the control and handling of the Subaru BRZ. This driving demonstration shows the BRZ negotiating around cones in a tight pattern.

Early last month, lead 86 developer Tetsuya Tada reportedly confirmed plans to bring a convertible 86/GT86 roadster to the market. In an interview, Tada confirms that the convertible is coming and adds that the GT 86 was designed from the outset to be a convertible as well.

At this past weekend’s First 86 Long Beach Weekend Trip our members in attendance got the first look at what could preview a possible future Scion FR-S Convertible Roadster. Check out the photos INSIDE.

Over 50 of the First 86 winners are registered members of FT86club – See Registry List, and all were invited on a 4-day all expense paid trip to SoCal where they will tour the Toyota Motor Sports National Headquarters and have a front row seat to Formula Drift Round 1: Streets of Long Beach and the debut of the GReddy Racing Scion FR-S drift car.
