Thanks for taking the time to post that picture!!! I was also highly considering 16"s. I have been driving the stock wheels and tires for over 10,000 miles and nearly 1 year. I was really hoping you would be able to help me in this area! I was wondering if you felt much of a difference in acceleration, braking, or feel with this upgrade? Also, do you know how much weight you saved by switching?

Thanks and congrats on the mod!

The wheels weigh around half what the stock ones do so a savings of roughly 10 pounds a corner. Not much difference noticeable in terms of wheels but the combination of wheels tires and suspension completely transformed the car.

Got a set of TE37 16x7 et46. They weigh in between 5.1 kg (11.2 lb) to 5.3 kg (11.7 lb), averaging out at about 5.2 kg (11.5 lb).

I can think of only one other wheel of the same size that weighs less: TWS TF-66, at about 10.5 lb. But those wheels cost about $750 each + tax + shipping.

There are several 16x7 forged wheels that might be lighter then 5.2kg. Problem being that most of them being discontinued, thus need to hunt at classifieds for used. TE-37 & TWS TF-66 are still produced and can be bought new (unfortunately also at full price of new).
