Wheel Directory: OZ Superleggera 17x7.0 +48

Hey guys,

I just picked up a set of OZ Superleggeras 17x7 +48 from the NASIOC Subaru forums. They are 5X100 and have the same offset as the stock wheels. They are no longer in production but I was able to get them used for a nice price.

I fitted them with Bridgestone RE11As and I can honestly say that the RE11As are a sweet setup for this car. I have already done one autocross last weekend with the new sticky tires. I will also be driving them as a daily 50/50 against the stock wheels and tires.

One question though, I ran them 36psi front and rear (see pics below). It looks like I need to let a few pounds of air out to get more contact patch touching the road, correct?

Thanks,
Nate

I Actualy almost bought those from nasioc

I had 3 sets on my previous cars in different finishes , that's how I like them .

They're very light yet pretty good looking ....

Good choice man !

I run on 225 Rival's. I know not the same tire. But last autocross I ran them at 30f/29r. Morally I had them at 32 even. But I noticed my co driver was loose on the back end so I lowered all around to those settings. It settle down nicely. Took the class win. But I still need lots more improvement. Especially with all you young un's to compete against.
But all the tires will run differently depending on car, course, weather.

a friend had some 17x7 OZ Superleggera kicking around that I picked up as a spare set of track wheels but since they had street tires on them already figured I would throw them on for a bit....not a bad look

I am still running those wheels with the RE11As now 2 years later! I put them back on in March and just did a track day about 2 weeks ago. Overall, for $500ish bucks for the wheels you can't beat em'. Lightweight, good looks, and good quality coming from a company like OZ. I originally planned going competitive in CS SCCA AutoX but recently I've been doing more and more track days and maybe FI in the future, so at some point I could upgrade to 17X8 or 17X9.
