evan's innovate fr-s hits 311.5whp on the juice

Uncorrected on the dyno dynamics (no hearts were broken yesterday).

For those of you not familiar with my build, sprintex 210 (not +) powered non-intercooled. Meth injection. ~11.5 pounds at peak.

Limited driving yesterday, but so far a monster. Exhaust change tamed the beast inside too.

Still tuned on brzedit. Good job to @PRE-Erich.

Haha.. Will need forged short block and a turbo or bigger SC to get there.

Nice.
Why no intercooler?
Too much loss over the benefits gain of cooler air with the meth?

@clayrush Correct. Laminova is restrictive. Any gains over my existing setup are unlikely. With E85 and the spray, I'm already keeping knock at bay and cooling the charge. It's working very very well. I have other plans for this twin screw and a much bigger intercooler.

How do you think you would do without the spary?
My girlfriend really wants a fi kit that has a carb certificate. But she is ok cconverting to e85. And then back to base kit for smog time.

With 70mm pulley, without the spray I've seen supposed numbers of 285 on E85. Without E85 you'll get around 260-ish not intercooled and a little less intercooled, like 250-ish (on 92oct), which is where I'm at with 70mm. You're basically at the limit of this kit at these numbers. The kit doesn't have a post blower air temperature reading and the intercooler is very restrictive so they are hard to tune and know exactly what's going on.

Couple of thoughts on this:

Any discussion of numbers needs to be on the same type of dyno at a minimum. I learned my lesson on this one. All of my published numbers have been on a dyno dynamics (uncorrected) which typically read 10% or so less than a dynojet. Nonetheless, dynos are tuning and bragging tools.. Nothing more. If I take it to a dynojet operator the way it is now, I'm certain it will read higher.

With E85, Erich made it clear that the meth is not really doing anything in the addition of octane points since it only took 2 deg of timing to achieve a nearly 40 horse increase. The meth is there to cool the charge. My car smells of rubbing alcohol now and I kinda like it

I'm running the 70mm too. 700cc injectors. 3 bar map sensor made things easier to tune and I now have a dual fuel pump setup (OEM and DW) in the back to keep the fuel on the hump with the bigger pump flowing. I do have a post-blower IAT read courtesy of a hole drilled in the IAT plate on the manifold. This is also used for reading psi values for the meth to spray. I was tuned with the post blower IATs in mind.

The intercooler (laminova) is restrictive, that's why I'm not running one. I don't think these are hard to tune and that is evident by my conversations with Erich at PRE. My car is running great on Erich's brzedit tune. I still think there is some power to be had with these blowers. You just need to start getting creative. I've never been one to just plug n play so we will see what else this setup will bring!

There is also the 210+ with upgraded rotors and the 335 and of course, compound charging (turbo feeds the SC). Post blower is where things get interesting in the last setup I mentioned. Wild things.. (Forged shortblock needed)

Compound charging is a small part of the reason we are thinking about getting the innovative charger, If we decide to eventually make it a track only car years from now. The weather out here usually stays below 80 so I am hoping e85 will be well enough without meth for us.
Especially because my girlfriend is hoping for 250-275 for now.

We have our cars tested on both a mustang dyno and a dynamic pack dyno.

I have not had a chance to look and your overall build progress. When I get to a real computer I'll take a look.

I don't have a build thread right now. I'll put one up soon.

Keep in mind Evan is using Meth at this point to cool the Blower instead of a intercooler. The blowers get molten hot. We also live in Oregon where it's hardly ever over 80.
