I've always hated the clearbra on my car. Pissed me off to look at, pissed me off during detailing, so today it came off.

Good riddance.

That was the first thing to come off mine. Didn't even make it a day. Rock chips were are all on the back half of the hood and the roof and trunk when I sold it. The nose was clean.

Yeah I have no idea why it took me this long, actually enjoyed detailing the car last night for what is probably the first time.

Didn't realize you had RPF1s in storage for summer! Side-note exhaust question, what do you think causes the burble the most? Header, OP, FP? I'm in a similar boat where I want to keep the stock catback, but i'm considering putting on a different OP/FP

Header is only thing that causes burble really, FP (and to a much lesser extent the OP) only tend to amplify the sound of any given header.

I love this, I drove my car for 20,000+ miles of mostly backroads driving at just about highway speeds, and just had a few really small rock chips that you couldn't see unless you were less than a foot away. I did get a small rock ding on the windshield only after a year though!

Isn't it crazy that some people are so paranoid that they won't even drive their car until they get one installed!?

Yeah, I never really understood it either, had everyone tell me I was crazy when I expressed my desire to remove it based on how it looked. Plus the rock chips I get are either much higher up on the hood that a 1/3 clearbra will cover, or on the A pillars.

I am leaving it on the bumper though, it has and will continue to absorb large numbers of cone, gravel, and melted rubber hits given my activities

Yeah - my poor bumper - omg. I should have gotten clear bra just for the bumper. It's so whack now. The hood - meh.

I'm sure following a little too close on drives may have something to do with that!

But yeah, when I look close at the clear-bra on my bumper, it looks like someone stood about 3 feet away and went to town with an airsoft gun.

Just collect dings for a few more years and get it repainted. That's my plan.

Pro tip: The skinny pedal on the right side makes the car go faster.

Yup, repaint is long term plan.

curious on the exhaust changes, figuring you might be able to provide input on my changes/thinking, since you've experienced the nameless setup.

Currently I've got the Nameless header (first version), nameless catted OP with original can style resonator, and nameless axleback with 8" mufflers. Like you, I am VERY done with loud exhausts, this thing HOWLS non stop. So I ordered the perrin Catback hoping to reduce volume a bit- but is sending them my OP/FP to get the can replaced a necessary step as well to reduce volume? Hopefully I don't need to replace the header, it was quite expensive.
