I have read several people run it down 20-30m past fuel light, then add 2 gallons, but others just add a full tank? And then when to flash? Also, what about when going back to 93? Finally, what specifically to look for in datalogs to make sure things aren't out of hand

Would be great if you could outline this.

Steve99 wrote an awesome description for you. I followed these instructions and am currently using E85

Yes, cold start idle can be changed, but why do you want to?

Got an OFT recently. Preparing to run E85 tomorrow once my fuel level drops low enough.

How do I know I have the updated maps? Or how do I download them and load them onto the OFT?

I downloaded the Datalog Viewer and v1.59 maps off the OpenFlash website, then unzipped and dumped those files into the main OpenFlash folder.

Does this look correct? I don't know how it would auto-update over wi-fi when it's a secure network.

Ok, cool... just didn't want to run an outdated map. I cannot wait. It took a lot of restraint to not just drive around and burn off the 1/4 tank of 91 octane I have left.

Yes it did, $29.5k OTD if I recall. I did contact internet managers at multiple dealers cheapest BRZ-L was $300 less, but 40 mins away.

I had to have a Limited. I know a guy who's a sales manager at Toyota and they don't even get employee pricing on Scions... he paid more out the door on his Series 10 than I did and at a much higher interest.

That is insane since I got mine for $500 over invoice. CA is stupid.

Yep. If family and friends didn't live here I'd GTFO.

It was a pain finding a WRB. My first choice was initially SWP, and they were everywhere. I actually got the dealer to match my internet manager's quote for a SWP, only difference was the extra for the homelink mirror.

Strange... I may need to upload some logs. Gotta figure out how to do it first. the "start" function in the diagnostic section (with the AFR, LTFT, IAM, etc.) doesn't do anything.

My LTFT never seemed to go higher than 5.46. It stayed around +/-3 and occasionally stabilized near 0. But would drop to -20 after rev matching a downshift, then would stay there at idle until I took off again. IAM never budged from 1.

From my understanding, the first part of the cold start (the loud, flaring, poppy part) is for quickly warming up the pre-cats.
Now that I have Borla UELs, I don't want that at all, and would rather have the quieter, second part of the cold start used to bring fluids up to ambient temperatures.

I might be totally wrong

The auto-update is when you plug into your computer and open OFT Manager. It's a little bit of a misnomer on the website how it says it auto-updates over Wi-Fi, because the tablet itself doesn't have any connectivity outside of the OBD/USB cable.
