Wow, I just read the full warranty and it is quite impressive. The mileage starts at 0 so, my car has 20K on it so would be covered for the next 16K; still not bad.

However, their exclusions appear to disallow most other mod:

So, gotta be careful on tire widths. I'm already screwed though given my suspension mod and I run r-comps at the track...

But, this tells me the stock drive train is quite robust! As others have already shown with the other kits out there.

Any idea if they include a way to monitor post blower temps like edelbrock does?

Much smaller.

Does anyone know why the flow rate of their water pump for the intercooler(s) is? I thought I read that in here somewhere but I can't find it now.... Damn mobile version.

Yeah the Cosworth uses larger cores and also a quad-pass heat exchanger, the only one I know of. I keep trying to see if someone will sell me one without the kit but apparently not.

AWIC cores can vary wildly as well in terms of efficiency so bigger may not always be better.

The twin cores in my TRD supercharger are definitely not as thick as the Cosworth ones, but they are wider and taller which equals a bit more surface area.

why do you want the heat exhanger? Have you already got some kind of blower on there?

he's the guy who bought the TRD supercharger. Also he mentions it in the text that you quoted.

First time poster here

I've contacted Harrop and ordered a supercharger kit.
The kit will be installed and custom tuned at the Harrop performance centre. ETA late September or early October.

My car has been completely stock for more than 2 years. The original plan was to only install a supercharger kit as my first bang for buck mod, but since the Harrop kit is going to be custom tuned it makes more sense to add new exhaust as well.

What I'm looking for in the headers / exhaust, from most important to least:
  • Enough headroom for more boost in the future (after doing an engine build)
  • Quiet enough for a daily drive
  • Nice loud exhaust note when I need it (i.e. when revving the engine)

Any advice is much appreciated.

I'll be starting my own build thread soon

Wow, the Milltek primary catback sells for over AUD $3200.
I wasn't quite prepared to spend that much.

The following two which are sold locally in Australia seem to review ok for noise:
Perrin Cat Back Exhaust 2.5" for AUD $1150 ~USD $820
Invidia Q300 catback exhaust for AUD $1190 ~USD $850 or for AUD $1520 ~USD $1080 with high flow front pipe (catted).

Is the Invidia high flow front pipe worth the extra expense?

Will these two exhaust options above achieve my goals and is there anything else I should be checking out?

At this stage I'm too sure about which headers but will keep looking to see what's available locally.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks in advance
