Watching the video, it's a marketing video, but I get the feeling they were fairly honest about their lap times, not too much BS going on. Their car looks awesome, and those brakes.....

I don't think it'll be much of a competition, cost wise, unless Harrop decides to get a U.S. Vendor.

Although, power output, longevity, and track capability I do see a competition.

Could be wrong though

Pricing on the email they sent out today is $6,688 AUD w/GST without ECUTek tuning.

The USD is pretty favorable against AUD right now so that comes out to $4,312 USD. Harrop has US distributors for other products, I'm sure they will pick one up soon for this and the pricing will be less than $5K.

This is the dyno they included as well. Also notice it has the boost on it, .6BAR so a little less than 9PSI, which is nothing on that supercharger.

I agree

I wonder if some of the people who bought the early turbo or supercharger kits would pick a different one with all the kits and new versions or smaller pulley kits coming out

The Edelbrock SC with the warranty would push me towards that one over the Harrop. Not saying it's a better kit, just more piece of mind that I won't be on the hook for a new engine if something goes sideways. Looks awesome though.

I would assume cooling differences, from a glance the harrop looks like it has a different set up than the E-force.

Their warranty covers the engine? Seriously doubt that...

Indeed it does, so long as it is installed by an ASE certified tech, or a dealer they will cover it for 3years/36000 miles IIRC from the purchase date.

Harrop uses twin intercoolers, one on each side of the S/C. I think it's a better setup since with the IC sideways you can fit a relatively thick core in there.

Hmm I think it was up to 36,000 miles not from date of install but total miles on the car.
