Then put it on the flat part at back of the transmission It’s pretty much dead on parallel. |

Started working on the mufflers
Something like that Fit good I’ll work on the tips later. Gotta wait on the tips. Once the rest of the exhaust is done, and I see where the mufflers end up I can finish the tips. The whole thing can be moved forward or backwards like the stock muffler...hangs exactly the same. |

Got the Sikky oil pan. Clearance is good but the oil cooler line adapter it comes with still leaves me in the same predicament...it hits the steering rack and would hit the sway bar.
I need something like this. Here’s how it worked out Hopefully this leaves me with enough clearance for the headers. |

So I’ve read after hours of surfing the web...and yes, you would know hahaha! I only added it (alot of it) as a precaution. Tank didn't leak after I re-formed it...but if it decides to leak later, this stuff should keep it sealed I think.

Jonesing about your work on corvette CAI set up.....was going to start ordering parts but decided to wait for your findings.....noticed also if you remove OEM hood latch and do some sheet metal trimming there is a lot of room above radiator....I have noticed an extreme loss of power in Texas heat with my set up.

Latch needs to go for sure and some of the sheet metal. I’m finding my current problem is I have so many different projects going on with the car my efficiency in getting things done has gone down haha... I figured I need to stick to a category. Right now I’m trying to focus on all my AN lines...oil cooler and fuel and coolant but @DustinS brought up AN heater lines the other day, so now I’m doing those and that led to steam port lines (want to do a 4 corner system) ...still need to figure out what I want to do on the AC lines. But I’ll jump back in the intake today to work on the throttle body coupler. I ended up with 8 different 45 degree couplers and settled on this one. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ppe-515404045 It was the most rigid of them all and had the most usable bend radius for my setup. I need to trim up the length. |

Front of the hood hits the rubber coupler and maybe the k&n ducting. Pretty sure the fast 102 intake and the 102mm throttle body aren’t helping matters. k&n fits pretty good otherwise so far Flipped the k&n over Options are; cut the hood. Heat up the k&n and reform it a bit or both...to be continued lol.... |
