Maybe Honda's pin 1 = Subaru's pin 6 on the connector? So we have it exactly backwards?

Which ironically would have meant all I had to do was swap 1/2

Perhaps they operate on different DC voltages? Check the voltage of Black/Blue, confirm that is what the Honda TB expects to see. After that we may have either the TPS (white and white/red) or the throttle plate (white/sharpie and red) swapped

Possible, maybe compare to a picture of a Honda wiring harness to confirm layout?

Well, one thing that tipped me off ... there's actually a correlation between the pins on the TB side and the pins in the harness - like they're different color metals. 2 / 4 - i.e. 2 for tb, 4 for tps - and this color differential is existent on both TBs and the wire harness - I am struggling to see that as coincidental.

Now I need a damned ECUTek cable so I can make sure the ECU is getting a good TPS signal.

I found my OBDII Diag cable and connected it. ECU is getting TPS, not throwing any codes.... now. Do have 4 lovely fuck-your-couch permanent codes from earlier when the wiring harness was inverted and the TPS was 100% ass backwards. ECUTek will probably wipe those with an ECU flash, but yeah - that's fun.

I did some datalogs of the TPS with both the K20 and FA20 - going to analyze them and see if there's any weirdness.

....and yes, after all this - car still runs fine.

Screenshots from Excel. I don't see anything concerning here... almost identical readings - well within margin of error.
