Fuji Corporation has a great wheel configurator / simulator for the 86/FR-S and the BRZ (among other cars). Short of photoshopping wheels yourself, this is the next best thing to get a good preview of how certain wheels will look on the car.

Another First 86 winner has received his FR-S!

Congrats to FT86CLUB member FRSfan111 (Kyle) for taking delivery of his Raven (Black) FR-S last night! This was no typical delivery experience however as Scion corporate threw a delivery party / media event at a special delivery event in a Scion owned warehouse/entertainment facility in the Portland area. Kyle was treated like a celebrity – doing interviews and posing for photos with his new ride.

Several more of our members will be taking deliver this week, and some will also be doing so at a Scion sponsored delivery party/media event like this. Photos from the event INSIDE.

KW is one of the giants in the aftermarket suspension industry and they’ve just released their KW V3 (Variant3) coilovers application for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ. It allows for adjustable (and independent reacting) rebound and compression damping, and a lowering range of 20-50mm on both the front and rear axles.

Scion drive events are beginning to pop up around the country. This weekend saw one of the first take place – a FR-S First Drive event in Baltimore. It was an autocross featuring 5 different FR-S cars in different paint schemes and cosmetic configurations (with 3 actually available for test drive).

The cars were fitted with TRD lowering springs, TRD exhaust, and Enkei wheels wrapped in Yokohama tires. Check out some driving impressions, photos, and videos from the event after the jump.

As we posted yesterday, site member Pekingduck is the first known owner of an FR-S in the U.S. and now that he’s had a few hours behind the wheel of his brand spankin new car, he shares his initial thoughts in the FR-S Owner’s Journal that he’s started on the forums.

Congrats to FT86CLUB member Pekingduck for being our very first member to take delivery of the Scion FR-S! As far as we know it, he’s one of the first (if not the very first) North American owner to take delivery of the FR-S.

The delivery came at the Longo Scion dealership in Los Angeles yesterday and a little ceremony took place for Pekingduck as he started his FR-S for the first time. Check out the momentous occasion inside as it was captured on video!
