OFT stuck beeping in realtime data mode

Hey, everyone.

I updated my OFT to the latest firmware version (v1.34) and now it won't stop beeping and changing the screen brightness while in realtime data mode. Any ideas why this is happening?

I've recalibrated the display and tunes flash over just fine. The only issue is the beeping in realtime data mode.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Go to the openflash downliads pge for 86\brz

make sure your using openflash manager 1.24.0 or the latest one on that page then download and apply the latest Template file , think its 8.2 and you should be good to go

If the above doesn't work, check the ODB cable, if it's not seated correctly it can do very strange things to the OFT. Even if it looks ok, try to reseat it again.

Just tried but it's still doing it. I'll check the cable next.

Checked the cable as well and both connectors were tight. Maybe the cable went bad? It was working fine before the firmware update... Strange.

You have inadvertently set up a tuning alert that is triggered when you go into the realtime data screen. Go to the tuning alert menu and deselect all the channels. Then scroll down to Tuning Alert 2 and do the same. Then down again to Tuning Alert 3 and do the same. Then right arrow and you should be good to go.

Shiv was right on the money. I stupidly set my oil temp warning to go off when it was LESS THAN 215 degrees instead of MORE THAN. I feel so dumb.

Thanks for the fast response, Shiv!
