MID-ALANTIC! What's your Opinion on the New FT 86II
Just wanted to get a discussion going with the people of this Area so we get to know each other better n stuff.
I'm Chan btw,24, I'm from Rockville,MD but I'm currently staying over in Alexandria,VA. I actually like the new concept a lot and the color Black is really growing on me. I'm a fan of the rear hatch part, I'm hoping that it's a hatch/liftback. But I don't like the back bumper. What's the color of your choice? and what's your opinion on the new concept that will probably production. Anyone here waiting to see the Subaru version first before making a decision? I know I am :O |

I'm definetly in love with the new concept, minus the leds, rims, and spoiler(which can all be easily removed) I think the production version will be perfect if its based on this concept and just toned down. I'm hoping the original design scheme of the interior stays(including the zippered leather). For color I haven't decided yet. I love the dark grey the concept has and will probably choose that over black. Might go with blue or white depending on how they look in person
I actually want it to be a regular trunk and not a hatch(I just don't want goose neck hinges so I can have some usable trunk space.) I never carry much and I'd prefer a more rigid body. I'll probably remove the rear seats and make a sound system to go back there as my first mod. Nothing heavy just something to replace the seats. I have a '00 celica gts. When I get this car I'll let my brother drive(not own) the celica so I'll still have that as a hatch/multi passenger etc. As for the subie version, meh. I'm expecting it to be a big heavier, and less attractive. Even if its more powerful I won't get it unless it's a lot better for not a lot more. And if the production ft-86 looks anywhere near the concept that's just something I can't say no to. |
