ebay catch cans?

I have been looking around for a while and i just can't seem to understand why a catch can is so damn expensive for this application...

I found some baffled catch cans on eBay for around $35-$45, which i think is a fair price for a simple piece of metal...The question is, why not? Before someone says "your paying for R&D costs, and you should support the market..." that isn't an argument. Catch cans have been around FOREVER.

Anyways, unless I am missing something (and I'm sure i could be), why not go with something lie this?

I know i will have to make my own bracket, but that something I have been doing for years.

How would you know it works and doesn't blow oil right back to your intake? A catch can isn't just a can with baffles, but in this case it may be. It needs to be a design capable of condensing oil vapor and handling pressure from boosted applications. I would rather pay for a unit from radium that I know works and has some kind of warranty. There usually is a reason why ebay junk is cheap.

I had thought about going the ebay route. Was going to stuff an ebay one with steel wool, But i found a good deal on a used radium one. Just keep an eye out for a good deal instead of cheaping out.
