Is Meguair's Wheel Brightener safe on stock FRS wheels?

Reviews for Meg's wheel brightener say NOT to use on aluminum wheels. I'm not sure if the FRS stock wheels are aluminum alloy or not. Does anyone have experience with this product?

I was in between this and sonax. Sonax is just too expensive at $60/gallon (amazon subscribe & save). While Meg's Wheel Brightener is $25/gallon.

Looking forward to replies. Thanks!

just get a normal bottle of Sonax..

this kind of wheel cleaner is only needed if you DONT clean your rims at months at a time

if you clean normally, a normal all purpose cleaner can take care of the job no problem with some brushes etc etc

ive also used Auto Finesse Iron Out.. smells like skunk! but works great!

Once in a while remove whole wheel with rim and boil water, then dump whole tire in hot water. Not ramen hot but hot enough to clean debris off of it. Also add in dish soap.

Once brushed, wiped and dried, I use armor-all wet look spray or Meguiars. When it dries (10min later) I put wheel back. Wheel looks brand new for like 2months (approx 2000 miles)
