Can't install Valve Stems?

So when I had my new wheels installed they came with Valve Stems, the guy at Costco who did it for me because that's where I bought my new tires as well said that he couldn't change out the valve stems? He made it seem like it was either incompatible or he wasn't allowed.

Would there be any reason why he couldn't? The only possible reason I could think of is that my tires are filled with nitrogen.

Did you have your TPMS moved to the new wheels? TPMS is built in to the valve stem.

He might not have been able to swap out TPMS because some aftermarket wheels require you to redrill to accommodate TPMS sensors.

What type of wheels do you have? These days it's pretty rare to find a wheel that won't fit the valve stem style tpms sensors.

I have Gram Lights 57xtreme. I didn't even know the TPMS Sensor was in the Valve Stem itself, makes sense.
