OFT Battery Disconnect Tune?

This may be a stupid question, but I figured I would post it anyway for future users if they are also curious...

Once my ECU has been flashed with the OFT, would disconnecting the battery or accidentally having the battery die on me revert the ECU back to a factory tune?

I would think not since the new tune would be stored within the ECU after flashing. The only way to get the stock tune back would be to flash it back, is my understanding.

But again, just a curiosity and additional forum info for future customers.

- Thanks Guys

Removing power to the ECU will reset info like LTFT and IAM etc. However you are correct that the tune is not removed. You would basically end up as if the tune had been flashed for the 1st time, meaning pedal/throttle learning needs to be carried out etc.
