Disconnect battery for all LED installation?

I've read that some people have blown fuses changing their switchback LED turn signal lights. The solution to this would be disconnecting the battery. But, is it just for the switchbacks? Or should I disconnect the battery for all bulbs to be installed, like dome, trunk, reverse, rear turn signal, etc?

I never heard about it either until a few people mentioned it on here.

I think it would be safer if you do disconnect the battery, but i am just too lazy or forgot do it when I installed my lights previously. so far I don't have any problem with the car after those lights installed.
