Push Button Start (or not)

2013 BRZ (milage 30k) not always starting on first try. Started 2 or 3k ago. Car has always started, just not on first try, like it always did before. It kind on acts like the button is not pushed hard enough or to quickly.
Anybody else?

Try changing the battery in your fob. That happened with my last car when the battery was getting weak and wasn't connecting to the immobilizer right away. Eventually you won't be able to even unlock the doors.

Worth a try, do you remember the battery number?

I just started having this problem as well. When your car won't start will it at least turn on the radio? I was able to get the radio on but it wouldn't even try to start the car. I eventually turned everything off and got out of the car and locked the doors. Got back into it and it started up fine. This morning I couldn't get my passenger door to unlock with the key fob, including my back up fob as well. The car did start up like normal the next 4 times I turned it on.

Mine usually starts on the second try. Have not noticed anything else not working normally.
