Openflash Manager OFT Error

Hi all,

Just got my OFT and got my car tuned yey. Question, I'm trying to update the tunes, and when I open up Openflash Manager and connect the OFT, it says "Length error," anyone had this before and if so how do I fix it?

In windows, a window also pops up and says, "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows can not recognize it."

Here's a pic of what's happening

Thanks all!

I haven't had this exact error, but have you tried using a different USB port? I had a different error code, and it went away after I plugged it into a different port.

I'll try a different port and see if that fixes it.

OFT not liking usb3 ports sounds like flaw that will become more and more important as more newer pcs/laptops will get sold with no older standard usb ports. It needs to be addressed at some point.

I just ended up using another laptop and it worked, so I'm presuming it's because of the USB 3.0 ports on my Macbook Pro.
