Brake Caliper Remanufacturers In GTA or York Region?

Hello,

So I need to get my front calipers and carriers reman'd for my winter car (2000 subaru legacy wagon) and I'm trying to find a place that's close to where I live or where I work (york region, newmarket or vaughn, etc)

I've heard Midland caliper in scarborough is good but is very out of the way for me. I will go if that's my "only" option but I'd much rather go somewhere thats not too out of the way.

If anyone knows anything i'd be very grateful

Is there a huge difference in cost between rebuilding and just buying new? I have always just bought new ones so have no clue.

Have you tried local autoparts stores? I've paid very little for oe reman brake calipers some around $25-40 with a core.

Well the cost isnt so different and i can get the calipers "new" but ny problem is the carriers, they are discontinued for my model of legacy and 3/4 slider pins are seized in there so they require a rebuild. I figured i may as well get the calipers reman'd in the same shot.

Update: Called Seven Auto in Newmarket and they made some magic happen and was able to get me calipers and carriers within 20 minutes of me calling them. LOL
