BOV location?
Hey guys,
I plan on adding a BOV to this Greddy T518Z setup. I didn't like the fact that the kit didn't come with a BOV, so I've decided to weld one on. Now to figure out where to mount the BOV....Since the MAF is located just before the throttle body, if I mount the BOV about 5-6 inches upstream of the MAF, would this cause any potential issues? Since air is being vented out upstream of the MAF, when I'm back on the throttle the MAF should be able to gauge the correct amount of air entering the TB, correct? Since this is a blow through MAF config, are there any benefits of going with a recirculating setup? Any input is appreciated! Thanks! |

That looks fine, here is a photo of the kit I made. I have never had any issues with the BOV affecting the MAF
