To get to or remove ecu
Pull the screws to glove box, after removing binnacle, drop it, it swings down and towards center of car, bend away t it, it not break

Gets long extensions and locate two 10mm on firewall, remove both
Loosen ecu cage
Swing left and down after pulling harnesses

I vaguely recall having to loosen something to get it out of the way, minor inconvenient thing

Disconnect your battery! Why the heck are you pulling your ecu?
