18x8.5 Question! Staggered. Can I fit 255?

I just purchased some 18x8.5 +38 rims.

I originally wanted 18.8.5/18x9.5 rear to get that staggered look however they did not have 9.5 in stock so I just bout 8.5 all around.

Question is can I fit a 255 tire on a 8.5 without it looking funny? Will the tire engulf the rim? Will I need a spacer to achieve the same look? I would probably go 225 front, 255 rear.

OR

If I can fit a 245 tire in the front, I might go for that square setup...shouldn't look too bad?? Can I fit a 245 in the front? I plan to also be getting coilovers as well.

What would you guys recommend?

im on 18x9.5 with a 255. 255 is meant for 9.5 width so on an 8.5 its going to be meaty. Especially if you get a tire that runs meaty. the brand will effect it as well. id probably go 235 on an 8.5

Without knowing offsets and brands, it's hard to say what will or will not fit. Plus, anything can work if you try hard and believe in yourself.

Meaty isn't necessarily bad right? Ya I kno I could do 235 but I feel like 235 won't fill the rear as much as I'd like it to. You think maybe 245 all around is better? But can the front clear 245 with no rubbing?

Yea I am still looking at tire brands so I would choose one appropriately.
