Unhappy Resetting the ECU after running 87 gas

I recently just got an FRS. I didn't realize that it was only supposed to be premium only . I filled up with 87 octane for the first 1200km until I realized I needed at least 91. I put octane booster and a bit of 94 for this cycle of gas.
I was just wondering if that might have caused any damage to the motor. I can't sleep on it. I hit 5,000 rpm only a couple of times.
Also, should I reset the ECU now? I read somewhere that the ECU learns the most in the first 100 miles.

I dont think damage would be there unless you treat it like a race car on cheap gas. My colleague drives a Mercedes and that sonofa puts the cheapest gas over premium. Has for past 6 years. He did have a head gasket leak 2yrs ago but fixed it himself. Thing is always running on one wheel of how abusive he drives it. 218k miles. He's put 175k.

Maybe the Mercedes engine is tank proof? It's like a c230 or c2 something. I've read his manual. Premium only.

no you should be fine as the ecu pulls timing to compensate for the 87 and will relearn when 93 is used.

It's true, though. ECUs are like children. Sometimes they throw a tantrum and need a time-out.
