HIDs in Stock Housing

Hey, was wondering if someone could tell me if they've had any experience installing HIDs into the stock housing of the headlights. I've tried Google and I can't find anything about this. What EXACTLY do I need to do in order to be able to put HIDs in a bone stock FR-S headlight housing. Would be extremely grateful if someone could clear this up for me as I know next to nothing when it comes to all of this stuff and I'm trying to learn about it.

What information do you want ? You buy an h11 hid kit and it will be plug and play.
But its also recommended my most to get a harness with relay.

Thanks for your response, but why is it recommended to get a harness with relay? Will it work without this?

It will work without it yes. But harness is recommended to limit flickering an load on your oem harness since it would wire directly to your battery

The HID kit from Diode Dynamics seem to be one of a few popular choices around here.

150 dollars with 30 extra for the harness is a good deal. Also made in the US!

Easy to install as the video on their site makes it out to be?

I think I'm going for the kit after the exhaust upgrade. Halogens are ok for city streets but I get nervous at night on the highway. Stupid Bambi!

They're super easy to install. Everyone here loves diode but I'm running a morimito kit and love it also in the $150 price range.

I like the morimoto kit. I've been very happy with mine. It oozes quality.

Hmmm I do have the morimoto kit bookmarked. I'll do a bit more researching to see which one to go with.

I have the diode dynamics hid kit and it definitely is made with quality. The hardest part of the install was locating a good mounting spot so it looked OEM. My OCD would kick in if I had wires hanging everywhere.

Even my wife said they looked really nice. You know it's good when the ladies notice.
