Its been almost a year with my 2013 Brz now love the car

Im not sure if people are just sensitive to bright HIDs now or just pissed, ever since i bought the car i been flash with high beams more than i can remember i flash back to let them know im not using my high beams.

Anybody else with this problem?

Just take in thought...how do people who see aftermarket HID's feel?

It's horrible, even after a long trip a few hours in. Late at night and you see a car coming in with HID's horribly adjusted, makes me want to tailgate.

I digress...

Most new cars now come with HID's people should be used to it by now

My mind went to this:

I haven't adjusted my settings, but I had the missus drive in front of me at various distances in her VW Rabbit. She reported that it wasn't more annoying than the next HID-equipped car. The input was provided in real-time over the phone at said various distances.

Adjust the level control. The first two settings are too high and gets right into opposing drivers' lines of sight, in my opinion.

I'm surprised your getting flashed, especially considering how low the twins sit.

The stock projectors have a pretty decent cutoff too. Have you made any adjustments?

It's different when something is factory installed and something is installed by a weekend warrior.

This ^. When I first got it, I found 0 to be too high. I have mine at 2 most of the time. I run 1 when it's raining/snowing and visibility is poorer. I only run 0 when there's not enough street lights.

Hope it helps.

there are 2 scrolls on your left side parallel to your steering wheel one is to adjust the lamination of your interior/ gauges the other one on the right adjusts where your low beams are pointed. i think you have it pointed too high turn on your headlights at night and play around with the position.

edit: damn too late lol

IMHO, the cutoff at settings 0 and 1 are still too high. Like mabviper, I use setting 2 for normal driving.
