Local Shop Compilation
After looking through the topics I noticed that there are a number of posts asking for shop advice. Here is my attempt to put together a shop list.
This could be anything from Exhaust to wheels to maintenance. Format would be Name Location Type of work Good/bad word about them Big Two Toyota Loop 202 (south) and Gilbert, Chandler, AZ Maintenance I took previous vehicles there and they were always pretty good Vivid Racing Guadalupe and McQueen Not sure pulled information from a thread |

SUBIWORX
Curry Rd near Scottsdale Rd, Tempe. They installed by TRD Springs. Quoted me a reasonable price, and ended up coming in under the quoted price when all was said and done. Great guys, they do great work, and they specialize on Subies so I was comfortable taking my FRS into them. They had no problem with working on it for me! Sunland Auto Broadway and Val Vista RD, Mesa Maintenance. Love this shop so far, did my 30k and my oil change there. I have absolutely no hesitation leaving my car with them because I trust that they won't toy with it (i've heard some horror stories from dealerships). I've heard them drive my car back to the bay that they work on it in, and they don't rev the shit out of it or anything. Prices are very good, service is quick and they are super friendly. |

Arizona Auto Trends Motorsports 480-777-7700 (Ask for Cruz)
250 W Baseline Rd Tempe, AZ 85283 Wheels & Tires A lot of locals have used these guys. Cruz has been with the company a long time and gives a small discount to most track groups and local 86 guys. Just call Cruz and make an appointment and say you are with the Arizona 86 guys and he knocks a few bucks off on tire installs. You can bring your own tires in or order some from them. They really only do work on aftermarket / performance cars, not generic $30 tire specials. So they pride in the fact they have never damaged a wheel since open. Very popular shop for track junkies! The price is average but its worth it to know your car will be taken care of. They usually let you stand in the corner and watch if you want to.
