TOMS Relay Question

Hey guys, I just recently bought a set of USDM TOMS for my car. Will the included relay mean that the taillights work exactly like stock?

I remember hearing about aftermarket LED taillights having a delay with the turn signals, and I also remember hearing about a aftermarket relay that helps fix this problem.

Will I need anything else besides what was included with the TOMS box for them to work properly? I don't want to go through the trouble of installing them, just to have to do it all over again in a week. Thanks in advance.

The fist blink will have a longer duration than the subsequent blinks.

AFAIK that's a norm type of flashing delay used in EU cars.

Other than that you're good to go

That makes sense. Does that mean my blinker click inside the car will be out of sync with my turn signal lights?

Nope. It'll be in sync. Just the duration of both the cluster and outer lights for only the first blink are longer.

I have TOMs with the hyperflash relay module installed. Will this also prevent the front turn signal bulbs from flashing too fast if I install LEDs? I plan on buying some LED replacements from DiodeDynamics for the front bulbs.

Reviving old thread as opposed to starting a new one since I used button!

Yes, you can use the same relay for other LED products
