Seat upholstery hook?

I'm starting a seat cover install on my FRS. They are Clazzio. The book shows unhooking a loop which I think I can feel the elastic band but I can't quite figure out how to unhook it.

I can't see a thing so going by feel. The YouTube video is no help on this step and after searching I didn't see this addressed.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thx!

You can also remove the seat, it's just 4 bolts. It might be easier putting on when the seat is out of the car.

This is my plan b. I'd rather not if I can achieve the same results. One of those if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all.

IF you do remove the seat (which is super easy), just remember to use an E10 Torx socket for the bolt. and even then becareful not to strip the torx bolt - they're super soft

Finally fumbled enough to get it off. Basically I followed the elastic band to where it curved and pushed to the front of the car to get it to release. There appeared to be too hooks or catch points. Front seats are on. Going go try the backseat a when it isn't 90* in the garage. Thx all!
