Error in opening file

I'm having problem after I uploaded the file to OFT. I can't read anything in Download Data and Upload Data from OpenFlash Manger, it show 'Error in opening file'.
Anyone can help please.....

What version of OpenFlash Manager are you running? v1.21.0 is the newest. Also, make sure you are using a USB 1.0 port. USB 2.0 can be a little glitchy on some computers.

I'm running v1.21.0
it used to be ok with the same usb port.

It's same ...it can't read info from the device and show 'Error in opening file' on the left bottom corner.
It was ok but after I uploaded the file into it.

I try on different pc and different usb port, same....

I only use the device 4 times.......

Anyone can help please

If openflash manager is connecting to oft and it saying no tune files or original files present.

of thats windows 8 have you loaded windows 8 patch from oft wnlads site ?

try going to upload data and see if you can erase tune files, if no good try below

Then you may be able to try Erasing the entire oft using the erase function.

Just confiming your car is running ok as if the erase of oft is sucessfull you will have to marry up the oft to your car again by reading in an original rom from a working car.

I'm running win7, download data and upload data show the same.
Will it screw up the car by load the original rom back since the OFT not function correctly ?

Mate i cannot give you a 100% guarantee something wont go wrong.

but it looks like that the only option left if you try the ERASE function and oft says load original tune

try the ERASE DATA option with oft plugged into computer connected to internet first.

hopefully its just some weird mismatch between old oft software in tablet and the new ofm , just a long shot try loading the updated template file 7.2 i think from oft site

you have not got oft plugged into computer and car at same time as that does not work ?

this is when i like to have my backup device a tactrix cable handy

I plug OFT to my car and press tunning but is show "File corrupt, weird" then it show "File Mismatch".

It doesn't allow me to write the ECU.

Can you Erase data on oft using ofm and the Erase Data function ?

after that i think your snookered the oft guys may be able to remote reset it maybe

Can`t Erase data fuction. Already send email to OFT guy， waiting them to reply.
