Yesterday I installed a Invidia Resonated front pipe and Over pipe and everything was fine but this morning I feel something vibrating or slightly banging something underneath the car where the over pipe is when I shift into 1st in low rpm or 2nd in low rpm.
I'm going to take a look at it after work but does anyone have any idea

I would just follow the overpipe with my finger and feeling for clearance if you cannot see it. If something feels quite a bit less than letting your finger go by, then you probably found your issue and may need to adjust a little bit. Did you tighten starting from header to overpipe end first? |

Thankfully I did not have an issue up front with my exhaust. I have another thread where I fought the Perrin 2.5" resonated catback tip aligntment for several days and finally won. |

Finally got underneath my car.. Apparently the Invidia Overpipe's fitment is HORRIBLE. It leaves maybe only a quarter of an inch of space over the metal it goes over. I might have to buy wrap for it or something to prevent that awful metal on metal sound.. Last edited by JG; 06-25-2015 at 07:25 PM. |

Back in the day, after we would tighten everything down, we would take something like a big screwdriver or small pry bar and bend the pipe away from the frame ....... it ain't gonna break .....

Try loosening the overpipe and pushing it up away from the contact point while tightening it down again. The flanges can bolt together slightly differently depending on how you hold it/where it is sitting until the bolts are tight enough to prevent movement. I use this a lot to help with clearance issues and pipe alignment issues
