Well compared to the link he posted for $225 plus shipping it's a good deal. Made in Japan btw. But sorry?

A replacement push button for $150CAD is a good deal, regardless of brand. For an STI accessory, it's a steal.

Pffff don't even need to look farther than Nextmod who actually wants 600 bucks for these (the irony being that McGard's factory is in Buffalo NY IIRC):

https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/11660

Most domestic outfits selling JDM parts are ripping people off left right and center, no different from when Pacific Mall was selling JDM water goods (aka. parallel imports) for crazy money back in the 90s. Globalization and the Internet buried these losers for good.

Its cheaper then buying at dealer. Dealership wanted $150 something +hst for the stock black one.

No brainier in my mind. Don care for the STI stuff as much but the red looks miles better imo. Just waiting on japanparts.com to confirm fitment as its not listed on their site

If you order the one listed for a zc6, it will fit. I have one in my car

Just buy the ZC6 (aka. BRZ chassis code) one, the STI logo glows (hence no separate LED). I have it on my car. Don't get the wrong one.

The Series.Blue one is different, looks like the TRD one but replaced with the STI logo.

I think it's $150 due to the encryption that is involved with the security key system. The switch is plug and play.

It lights up when you approach the car and get in (think it's linked to the cabin lighting). It also lights up when you depress the clutch so you'll know where the button is to start the car in the dark. Same as stock.
