Toyota/Subaru D4S "engine cover" rattle

So ive been troubleshooting an annoying rattle at high rpm and high load, initially thought it was my sound tube, but this past weekend I've noticed that little plastic piece that says toyota subaru and d4s on it is just clipped onto the manifold and it definitely rattles around.

Anyone else have this? Not sure if mine is just worn out and needs replacing or if it's common.

And assuming it's common, anyone have any ideas on a material I can cram in between it and the manifold to stop the rattle and will hold up to engine bay/manifold heat?

Or maybe I can just ditch it? Not sure how much heat shielding it actually provides or if it's just for looks

Just for looks and just clipped on. No problem to pull it off.

PS - you might try heating up the "clips" and bending them in or out.
