Bracket Under Headlight problem

Hello.

I am quite new to this car and the forum, so please excuse me for knowing not much.

Just recently after completing an enjoyable ride on my Toyota 86 (2013 - GCC version), I saw the bracket popped out under the Head Lights..I don't think anybody has pulled it out..I am not sure about this... I have attached pictures for the reference. Can somebody please help me on this.??? will I have to claim warranty? or Can I fix it myself.? Is there anything wrong with the car..?? the car is running normally and there are no faults with it.

Looking forward to hear from someone who can help me out.

Best Regards,

have you tried pushing it in? I'm not sure how it clips in place, but I assume it's a simple push in.

those covers are supposed to open and close, to allow the headlight sprayers to work..
if they are not going back in all the way, warrenty?

we dont have these on the US models, but they are oem on the asain market models. possible there is a manual switch somewhere?

I'd suggest you activate whatever makes the washers work to open them up and then look in there to see if something is trapped in the opening to keep them from closing all the way.

Are they on both sides .. ?? If so, does the other one open and close all the way .. ??

in the description, it says to turn on the headlights, then pull and hold back the washer stalk.

this actually looks really cool, damn. why doesn't our USDM ones have this. but then again it doesn't have a wiper and all that soap just drips down on the bumper... when it opens up is cool though

Well, from the video it appears that the door moves out and slides forward.

It appears that the door on your washer is busted.

Can you get to the mechanism from behind the bumper to see if it is jammed or not hooked up to whatever makes it move .. ??

Ah, heck, if it's under warranty, take it to the dealer and let them sort it out.
