Any way to change the sound of my engine ?
Are there any mods to make the engine sound more deeper ? Also, which aftermarket exhaust will increase my car performance but at the same time isn't loud.

A cold air intake will give you that noise, but not much gains.
You'll want a header back system for gains, cat backs and axle backs are usually just for sound. For your situation, I'd suggest a CAI, headers, and a tune.

Try a 5.0L engine swap from a Mustang.

If you want a deeper sound ...do your research on el and uel headers.

So you want a deeper sound from the engine and better performance but keep the exhaust quiet? I would say a cold air intake with the Invidia Q300 catback exhaust. Q300 will give you better exhaust flow than stock but is still fairly quiet. Cold air intake will give you a better sound coming from the the engine bay. But once you start removing cats by getting UEL header and front pipe, the exhaust will get much louder.

IMHO, a conservative approach, would be a "drop in" air intake filter and an aftermarket axle back muffler like these:
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?prod=33-2300 http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...eback-exhaust/ Now, they won't give you much more power ...... but, it will sound like it ..... ![]() They are easy to install and relatively inexpensive. humfrz |
