Idle dip and the famous crickets

Im sure its been said somewhere before but i just brought my 2014 monogram frs to toyota for the famous crickets and idle drop.

The dealership said they are both bulletin's and will be replaced without question so for those of you who hate the crickets and or idle dip it should be covered. I know some people have said that the crickets have came back even after getting the pump replaced but i shall deal with that when or if that time comes.

the crickets are "covered" but they won't go away. We just gave up bitching about it and accepted it.

Funny that some have the dip and others don't and we don't see many 14s that seem to have the issue at all. Mine idles rock steady and even when the AC kicks in I just get a brief flutter that is no worse than any other car I have ever had.

Crickets come and go seemingly at will so I refuse to waste my time and Toyota's money trying to change pumps to get rid of them.

The crickets are normal for this car.. Sometimes is louder than usual and its annoying, just learn to deal with it if you want to keep this car or until subaru/toyota releases a potential fix.
