Takeda Intake Vs. Apexi Air Filter = Daily Driver
Hey guys, I recently was going to pick up an Apexi Air filter but the shop I was going to order from suggested that i should just get an Takeda Intake because of not as much price difference.
I kind of calculated the cost, and I guess the cost difference would only be $200.00 if i would buy a air filter and perrin tube inlet. However, I heard the air filter gives you great gains, but I've also heard the takeda intake gave great gains also. I'm wondering, what do you guys suggest...I'm looking for a little extra power without creating too much noise. Would the extra money be better on a fulle intake system? Or is it not worth the extra money and am I just better off going slowly and buying a air filter and inlet tube down the road? Thanks!

Just buy the filter. That's all you need. Skip the tube.

from all the tuners I've talked to, You're better off with a drop in filter and a tune.
