Takeda Intake Vs. Apexi Air Filter = Daily Driver
Hey guys, I recently was going to pick up an Apexi Air filter but the shop I was going to order from suggested that i should just get an Takeda Intake because of not as much price difference.
I kind of calculated the cost, and I guess the cost difference would only be $200.00 if i would buy a air filter and perrin tube inlet. However, I heard the air filter gives you great gains, but I've also heard the takeda intake gave great gains also. I'm wondering, what do you guys suggest...I'm looking for a little extra power without creating too much noise. Would the extra money be better on a fulle intake system? Or is it not worth the extra money and am I just better off going slowly and buying a air filter and inlet tube down the road? Thanks! |
Just buy the filter. That's all you need. Skip the tube.

from all the tuners I've talked to, You're better off with a drop in filter and a tune.
