Installing SPARCO Fighter bottom mount seats.

Thought Id share some progress shots of installing some SPARCO fighter seats (red) into my 2014 Scion. I only took some pitcure along the way. the Harness Bar was installed a couple months ago

Parts: from harness bar all the way to the bolts holding the seats in place.
1.AGENCY POWER BOLT-IN HARNESS RACING BAR SCION FRS
2. SPARCO 4PT Belt (red)
3.SPARCO Fighter seats (red) - BOTTOM MOUNTED!
4. Custom made Bottom mounts between the seat and the slider (12-3/4" long tube at 1-3/8" width/height. the holes are made to fit the SPARCO mounting bolts, which are set apart around 10-1/4" apart)
5. SPARCO slider seat track set. TIP: when installed with the planted tech basemount, part of the slider may need to be cut to fit the bolt that mounts the base to the car.
6.PLANTED TECHNOLOGY Base mount
7. Custom Made extension peice for OEM seat belt. 5 inch long, with 4-1/2" distance between holes for bolts. this was made so the OEM seat belt can still be used and is much more accessible. attached to the Planted Technology basemount.
8. New Hex head bolts for mounting the seat for ease of access (oppose to those TORX 10 bolt heads)
9. for the airbag light:

Few Tips:
-if you're taller than 5 ft 9". it may start to get uncomfortable hieght wise, as these seats sit pretty high compared to the OEM ones. unless of coarse you sacrificed the sliders/custom mounts, then it would sit lower at a much more comforatble height.
-Right now i have the custom peice for the OEM seatbelt bolted in, but i recommend having it welded to the Planted Tech basemount for everyday safety.

Nice, seats look fantastic! If you don't mind telling me, how did you solve the passenger side occupancy sensor/airbag problem?

I didn't quite yet :/.

I've removed the sensor from the OEM seat plugged er in, along with a resistor just to try it out but the airbag light stays on/'passenger airbag off' signal still lit.

When I get a chance I'm going to get the white strap From the oem seat an whatever other connections and apply some tension (I think only needs 1.5lbs?) so that it always feels the weight of a passenger present. Trial and error i suppose, although I'm not sure if that correlates with airbag or seatbelt or both?

In the meantime, no airbags for them.
