Wouldn't adding a coat of glass on your car weigh it down considerably?

Ah, no. The coating is a liquid ceramic glass coating that is applied and dries/hardens. Total amount applied in this case was 30 ml. In weight, probably less than 12 ounces. The layer produced is about 1/1000 of an inch thick.

Check it out online, its pretty cool technology that protects your paint and looks good. Its a win-win

Is there such a thing as too shiny? Looks amazing, almost unreal.
I live in east TN close to Knoxville and also have a 2013 Firestorm FR-S.
If I may ask, how much did this cost?

Prices start at $695. Depending on how much paint correction is needed it could go up. I had a lot of swirls and of course they fixed all those before product application.

The car is shiny because of the paint correction!

For less the $250 you can purchase your own PC7424XP, Polish, Wax...etc and teach yourself how to paint correct. The investment is well worth it.

$700 for a paint correction is INSANE!

Nice....I considered C Quartz finest as well after I bought my FRS....The detail shop who does it in Honolulu wanted $1200.00.
I asked him how long does this last and he said 2 yr warranty....I went with another detail shop and got Opticoat Pro instead for $395.00....Not much paint correction since my car was a little over a month old when I had it applied....The 5 yr warranty is why I chose Optimum Opticoat Pro....The detail shop I went to now is a authorized installer for CQuartz Finest....

True. But without the proper tools and experience one can't replicate the results.
