Remove tire rubber off car paint (Opti coat applied)
Hi,
Just wondering what is the best way to get tire rubber off opti-coated car paint. I saw people using WD40 and tar remover etc. would these damage the coating? Thanks in advance. |

You can use Stoner's Tarminator or Chemical Guy's Bug Bugger and Tar Remover. Both are safe if the OC is fully cured.
I have used both on my Sierra after some healthy burnouts covered the back end in rubber....Came off easily and the OC was not affected. |

I ended up foaming the car and clay bar to get rid of the rubber. I thought I'd try that b4 using any tar remover and it worked out great!
