Remove tire rubber off car paint (Opti coat applied)

Hi,

Just wondering what is the best way to get tire rubber off opti-coated car paint.

I saw people using WD40 and tar remover etc. would these damage the coating?

Thanks in advance.

You can use Stoner's Tarminator or Chemical Guy's Bug Bugger and Tar Remover. Both are safe if the OC is fully cured.

I have used both on my Sierra after some healthy burnouts covered the back end in rubber....Came off easily and the OC was not affected.

I ended up foaming the car and clay bar to get rid of the rubber. I thought I'd try that b4 using any tar remover and it worked out great!
