Turbo'd Engine Questions

So this may sound dumb to some of your but i will be turbo charging my car soon and i am fairly new to this so im wondering what parts already existing on the engine are weakest? This is more of a hypothetical like for people who run high psi what are the parts that are most common to break? Lastly what is the highest amount of boost you would run for a DD while keeping it reliable?
Thanks

razic helps a ton of people out who have unique/uncommon/specific questions and problems. He's not rude, or salty...

There's a ton of threads out there that deal with this topic. He's trying to teach you how to fish, so to speak.

check my sig out on how you can save yourself and others time by searching this thread using google

I would take the critisim and keep your anger to yourself or this thread will end quickly and you will get teased for not being as car savvy as the savvy car gods in this forum. I read that the rods are weak above a certain HP. With turbo I read you are really going to run into problems with heat and all the trouble that brings. I've been told that with limited car knowledge a sc will bring fewer headaches than a turbo.

this was in the first 3 pages. Next time you decide to make a thread topic, it helps to click next on a few pages first, at least.

it helps a ton! just add site:ft86club.com to the end of the search string. Or NASIOC. Or any other car club.. the best way to search hands down
