How Bad is your MPG now (Cheap Gas)
Now that gas prices are getting really cheap, heck down here in the south gas (Premium) can be found for $2 in some places!! So my gas mileage has really dropped as I'm flooring it everywhere, and I wanted to see what others are getting.
My Last couple fill ups have resulted in 17.7, 21.2, and 19.6 MPG. Before the installation of the Innovate/Sprintex supercharger, my best was 30.5 MPG, and I haven't gotten a chance to really see what difference the SC has made in daily driving, without acting like a hoon. *All these numbers are calculated out after fully filling up the tank, and this is with a Manual BRZ, with just 5600 miles on the clock. |

I've generally always been a lead foot
![]() You can browse through the fuelly profile (in my sig) if interested in seeing what we pay in the land down under and just how much our own prices have been likewise effected. A full tank is costing me pretty close to $50 AUD for 98RON (equiv to US 93). My car is A/T and stock.

I average around 30 mpg in summer months, down to 27/28 now with a 50 mile round-trip hwy commute.
When I was doing a short city only commute it was more like 25/26. Hate winter gas. 37,500 miles on the clock.

Was getting 23/24 the first couple weeks I had the car, now about 4 weeks in I'm getting 28+. I was driving like a bat out of hell that first week, playing with my new toy. Now I've settled into daily driving. Gas prices have not factored in one way or the other. I'm not going to purposely burn more just because it's cheaper...
Manual, btw. Last edited by MikeM7; 01-29-2015 at 10:42 PM. |

19MPG with snow tires and a heavy foot around town. 29MPG if I am on the highway and not tipping into boost a lot. Mine's got AVO turbo at 9PSI and while in theory it should not change MPG a lot, in practice I can't drive it like a baby all the time. It's remarkable how much variation I get depending on how I drive.
