Huh...that's pretty fast.

Reading the latest Car and Driver magazine today, they had a review of the new Toyota Camry XSE V-6.

0-60 in 5.8 seconds. That's pretty fast for a little commuter car. Though honestly, you never see a V6 Camry.

Better then the Camry rental I had last year. It also did around a 5.8, 0-60 but that was in minutes.

You see them all the time if you know what to look for

V6 Camry is a terribly under rated car. Can piss off all sorts of people because it's faster than most people expect, and it's so unassuming you aren't a target for cops.

Before I got my FR-S, I had a v6 solara (2 door Camry) it was a smooth ride. It definitely takes hills easier and faster straight line acceleration than the FR-S if I had to compare. Before that, I had a V6 90 camry. I loved that car too. I remember it being a lot quicker than all the stock civics in my high school that were riced out.

The V6 Camry has been that fast (5.8s 0-60) for a while now, maybe 7-8 years. Good bang for the buck if you want cheap, comfortable, and spacious speed.

It's also really grounded to the ground.
