Hollinger Sequential Trans for FA20

Hollinger have just released a 6 speed full sequential transmission for the 86/FR-S/BRZ. They've even designed the bell housing to accept other EJ family engines.

Should be epic for the big turbo builds and time attack cars

Basically will cost another FRS for the price of this gearbox. The best does not come cheap. I can only dream...

There was another thread about this not too long ago. Quaife also has a sequential box coming out as well.

Are you comparing one of those master shift kits to a Hollinger sequential box? Really?

Pain for a car that sees street time since you can't just shift into neutral. Not so great for drag cars because they only rate their box to like 500ftlbs. For a dedicated road race car, sure

I'd put one in my R, but not a lil Scooby. The factory box and shifter are pretty darned nice already.

They rate their boxes for torque handling capability in endurance events, not maximum breakage torque.

Still, someone needs to combine this gearbox with that ITB Super Street FR-S so we can all drool forever.

In the video they say there's neutral.

This is true. It's a great endurance trans. Just not for all out drag racing power holding
